I. Purpose and Data Controller
This Cookie Policy has been prepared under Art. 10 of the Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 and the Communiqué on the Procedures and Principles to be Followed in Fulfilling the Obligation to Inform. Its purpose is to explain the purposes for which, and the legal grounds on which, personal data obtained automatically through cookies used on our website are processed, and how those cookies can be managed.

II. What a Cookie Is
Cookie: A cookie is a small text file stored by the device or browser you use when you visit a website. These files help the website to recognise you and to remember your preferences on the site.
Cookies are not used on their own to establish your identity directly. Depending on the type and nature of the cookie used, however, information amounting to personal data may be collected.
Cookies are used on our website in order to operate the site’s essential functions and to measure and improve its use and performance. No advertising or marketing cookies are used on our website, no visitor profiling is carried out, and data obtained through cookies are not shared with third parties for the purpose of serving advertisements.

A. By Duration
Session cookies: These cookies are used to divide a user’s visit into sessions. The cookie is deleted when the page visited is closed or after a period of inactivity.
Persistent cookies: These cookies are stored in the browser and remain valid until deleted by the user or until a specified date.
B. By Purpose
Strictly necessary cookies: These are cookies required for the website to function and for an information society service that has been requested to be delivered. Maintaining a session and remembering cookie preferences fall within this category. These cookies cannot be disabled.
Performance and analytics cookies: These cookies produce statistics such as visitor numbers, pages viewed, time spent on the site and on-page movement. They are used only where your explicit consent has been given.

V. Legal Grounds
Personal data collected through strictly necessary cookies are processed in order to deliver an information society service you have requested, on the grounds at Art. 5/2-c of Law No. 6698, being direct relation to the conclusion or performance of a contract, and Art. 5/2-f, being the legitimate interest of the data controller. Consent is not required for these cookies.
Personal data collected through performance and analytics cookies are processed solely on the basis of the explicit consent of the data subject under Art. 5/1 of Law No. 6698. Under the Guide on Cookie Practices published by the Personal Data Protection Authority, standard measurement tools are not treated as strictly necessary cookies, and the legitimate interest ground is therefore not relied on for them.
Explicit consent is obtained through the cookie management tool presented on first entry to the site. Accept, reject and manage preferences options are offered on an equal footing in that tool. Entry to the site does not by itself constitute explicit consent. Consent once given may be withdrawn at any time.
VI. Transfers Abroad
The providers of the measurement and hosting services used on our website are established abroad. Personal data obtained through analytics cookies, and technical data arising from site hosting, are therefore transferred abroad.
Transfers are made within the framework of Art. 9 of Law No. 6698, as replaced by Art. 34 of Law No. 7499 and in force since 1 June 2024. Transfer is accordingly carried out under Art. 9/1 where an adequacy decision exists; in the absence of one, by providing one of the appropriate safeguards at Art. 9/4; and where neither is available, only on an incidental basis under one of the situations at Art. 9/6.
If you do not accept analytics cookies, no personal data are obtained through those cookies and no transfer abroad takes place on that basis.
VII. Managing Cookies
You may change your cookie preferences and withdraw the explicit consent you have given at any time through the cookie management tool on our website.
Cookies may also be managed through browser settings. Browser settings allow cookies to be blocked, a warning to be given when a cookie is created, or third-party cookies to be blocked. VIII. Rights of the Data Subject and Applications
Data subjects whose personal data are processed through cookies have the rights set out at Art. 11 of Law No. 6698: To learn whether personal data are being processed; to request information if they have been processed; to learn the purpose of processing and whether the data are used in accordance with that purpose; to know the third parties within Turkey or abroad to whom the data have been transferred; to request rectification where the data have been processed incompletely or inaccurately; to request erasure or destruction within the conditions at Art. 7; to request that rectification and erasure be notified to the third parties to whom the data have been transferred; to object to an adverse outcome arising from analysis solely by automated systems; and to claim compensation for loss suffered as a result of unlawful processing.

Applications are concluded free of charge as soon as possible and in any event within thirty days (Art. 13/2 of Law No. 6698). Where an application is rejected, the response is considered insufficient, or no response is given within the period, the data subject may lodge a complaint with the Board under Art. 14.
IX. Amendments
Where the cookies used or the legislation change, the necessary amendments are made to this Policy. This Cookie Policy was last updated in August 2026.
