Muhammet Şahin has pursued both academic work and legal practice since the first day of his professional life, aiming to serve his clients by merging doctrine and practice. After completing his undergraduate education at Ankara University Faculty of Law, Şahin moved to Istanbul and began his legal practice there.
Along with his independent legal practice, he started his Master’s degree at Istanbul University Faculty of Law. After completing his master’s education with his thesis titled “Default in Capital Contribution Obligation and Expulsion from Shareholding in Joint Stock Companies,” he began his doctoral studies in Commercial Law at the same faculty. He is currently continuing his work on his doctoral thesis titled “Liability to Creditors in Ordinary Partnerships.”
Şahin primarily provides consultancy to commercial companies in addition to serving as employer’s counsel. In this context, he deals with disputes related to various companies’ general assembly and board of directors processes.
